Descriptions and examples explain design ideas. They are not a security audit, an assurance of compatibility, or a promise that historical software is suitable for a current application. Assess the code and the environment in which you intend to use it.
Authorship and affiliation
This site is edited by the ADsafe Editorial editors, independently of the original ADsafe project. This site does not represent Douglas Crockford or the original project's contributors, or claim their endorsement. References to ADsafe identify the historical subject.
Source material
New explanations are separate from the legacy runtime. The original runtime files carry their original public-domain and warranty notices. Consult those notices and the upstream repository for the historical source.
